The way we work
Brief
Develop draft project brief considering project objectives and aspirations including quality, sustainability, timescales and budget and undertake feasibility studies.
Concept
Develop concept design, including outline specifications and preliminary budget information together with delivery strategies. Formulate detailed project brief and design / development programme.
Design
Produce developed design proposals and coordinate proposals for structural design, building services systems, outline specifications, cost information and project strategies.
Prepare technical design including all architectural, structural and building services considerations, specialist subcontractor design, specifications and cost management inputs.
Prototype
Principally employed for off-site manufacturing projects; define and lead the programme of prototyping, test and refinement of the technical design including elements such as structural, acoustic and fire performance and manufacturability.
Implement
Off-site manufacturing; coordination of the new product implementation process (NPI) to deliver the new or improved solution into production in a controlled manner.
On-site construction; support to on-site resources to address design queries if/when they arise.
Review
Review of the as-built or as-manufactured building or product to provide a feedback loop for future improvement and learning.
